For Students and Early Career Scientists > Poster awards

In recognition of the importance of Poster contributions to meetings, the IAS is pleased to announce the 2017 Outstanding Student Poster Awards and Outstanding Early Career Scientists Poster Awards.

Eligibility

• Candidates for the Poster Awards must be paid up members of the IAS or ASF.

• Candidates for Student Poster Awards must be a current undergraduate (e.g., B.Sc.) or postgraduate (e.g., M.Sc., Ph.D.) student.

• Candidates for Early Career Scientists Poster Awards must have secured their Ph.D. within the previous 7 years.

• Candidates must be both the first author and Principal Investigator (PI) of the research.

Application Procedure

Application to be considered for either the Outstanding Student Poster Awards and Outstanding Early Career Scientists Poster Awards is easy. Simply download the relevant logo from the conference web site and display it on your poster.

Selection procedure

• A team of judges will confidentially assess all posters displaying the appropriate logo - make certain it is clearly visible.

• Be certain to be in attendance during the poster viewing time.
